Viver senza tei

"Viver senza tei" ("To live without you") was the Swiss entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 1989.
After Celine Dion's win the previous year, Switzerland were the host country for the Eurovision Song Contest 1989, held in Lausanne. Furbaz sang "Viver senza tei" for Switzerland in the Romansh language, the first (and to date only) time the language was used at Eurovision. The song was composed by band member Marie Louise Werth.
Furbaz performed 18th on the night of the contest, following Cyprus's Fani Polymeri and Giannis Savvidakis singing "Apopse As Vrethume" and preceding Greece's Mariana Efstratiou singing "To Dhiko Su Asteri". The song received 47 points, placing 13th in a field of 22.
The song was succeeded as Swiss representative at the 1990 contest by Egon Egemann singing "Musik klingt in die Welt hinaus".
